In addition to providing free treatment for eye ailments, Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital also organises free camps for urology and plastic surgery.Free urology camps are organised by Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital with the help of One Global Village from USA. The camps are held twice a year rendering yeoman service for the since 1996.
Treatment for several serious ailments like Hernia, Nephrectomy, Prostate Enlargement, Vesical Calculus, Stone (kidney, gall, urethral and urtric), Hypospedios, Fistula and other diseases related to urology are provided
Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital has also been organizing free Paediatric Cardiac and Plastic Surgery camps. Renowned doctors from India and abroad render their honorary services. We thank: Dr. Nicholas Chris Retson, Dr. Raja Ravela (both from USA), Dr. P.K. Bilwani (Ahmedabad) for their noble contribution.

Dr.Nick Retson, renowned plastic surgeon from the USA, renders voluntary services. With him are Dr.Prathibha Khare, Anaesthesiologist, USA, and Martha, Nursing In-charge and senior members of Bhopal Utsav Mela Samiti.
Dr. Gopal Badlani, well know Urologist from New York set up “Dada Atmaram Badlani Urology Diagnostic and Research Centre” fully equipped with the latest machines in the memory of his uncle.Dr.Tammy Neblock-Beirne, MD One Global Village medical activities and has served as Medical Director for surgical and clinical missions worldwide over and is the lead surgeon for the camp.Urinary disorder-related diseases are not only painful but can be fatal. The high cost of treatment is unaffordable for the poor, and acts as a barrier to seeking treatment. Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital provides relief to the affected poor by way of these free urology camps. This is perhaps the only camp of his magnitude held in India.

Nisha Solanki belongs to a large family of two brothers and four sisters (of whom 3 are married). Both her brothers and elder sister attend school. Nisha’s father is mentally challenged. The responsibility of earning is on the mother, who is a daily wage farm labourer and grandmother, who tends to her goats. Two earing members for a family of ten.
Blindness in children leads to deep impact on psychological, emotional, and socioeconomic growth to the family. A child with blindness is more likely to have delays in developmental milestones, to be more frequently hospitalized, and die during childhood than a sighted child. Such severe vision loss also adversely effects the educational activities, orientation, and mobility from the early stage of life resulting in lack of employment privilege. These differential characteristics between a sighted and non-sighted child is more obvious in developing countries. Moreover, the disability adjusted life years (DALY) loss in a blind child is far more than that of adults with blindness.
