A Rally to Raise Awareness on Glaucoma

Placards with messages on glaucoma symptoms and donning t-shirts with the hospital’s logo, doctors, Trustee, and staff of Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital took out a rally on 14 th March 2024, the penultimate day of World Glaucoma Week.

The World Glaucoma Week observed from 10 – 14 March 2024 is to raise awareness among the general public about glaucoma. The most effective way to spread this message is to reach out to people directly.

The rally to the heart of Bhopal city was led by two doctors from the hospital’s glaucoma department, Dr. Samta Patel, Associate Director & Glaucoma Specialist, and Dr. Sapna Shrivastav. They were accompanied by one of the hospital’s trustees, Shri TD Adwani, and the hospital staff.

The team from the hospital distributed pamphlets on glaucoma signs and symptoms.

An enthusiastic team from the hospital rode bikes crisscrossing the city, carrying placards with messages about glaucoma written on them.
