State Minister Health Shri Patel inaugurated Free Refraction and Dental check-up camp at Mantralaya

Refraction and dental checkup of 252 employees performed by Sewa Sadan

State Minister Health Shri Narendra Shivaji Patel inaugurated a Free Refraction and dental check-up camp for the Vallabh Bhawan employees and their family members at Vallabh Bhavan here today. MLA Shri Bhagwandas Sabnani, Managing Trustee of Sewa Sadan A.C. Sadhwani and Consultant Colonel Dr. Madan Deshpande were also present in the camp. This four-day camp started today will continue till February 14th, 2025. Shri Patel said that the vision of the employees can be affected due to working on files and computers throughout the day. The camp organized by Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital for the examination of refraction, eye and dental diseases of the employees is a commendable initiative. Shri Patel advised all the employees to compulsorily get their eyes, teeth, sugar level and blood pressure checked within four days. On the demand of women employees, the State Minister assured to post a female doctor in the Mantralaya. Shri Narendra Shivaji Patel and Shri Bhagwandas Sabnani also got their eyes, teeth, blood pressure and blood sugar checked in the camp.

MLA Shri Bhagwandas Sabnani said that the service institutions of Paramhansa Sant Hirdaram Sahib Ji serve the people by considering the spirit of service as supreme. Shri Sabnani hoped that by refraction, eye and dental problems of the employees of the Mantralaya, their health will remain good and their efficiency will also increase. On the first day of the camp, 252 employees got their eye and dental problems checked. Of them 130 employees were found to have refraction problems, Six employees were ailing with cataract. Another 45 employees were provided free spectacles, while 20 employees were found to have high blood pressure and 51 to have increased diabetes. In dental problems, 91 employees were advised to get RCT procedure done, 53 to get cavities, 62 employees to get extraction done. While 26 employees’ teeth were also cleaned. Apart from these, 15 employees were advised to get regular treatment for OSMF disease due to their mouth not opening properly.

On this occasion, along with the Mantralaya’s employee leader Subhash Verma, Ghanshyamdas Bhakoria, S.C. Osle, G.P. Singh, T.P. Pandey, Sunil Madavi, Sanjay Rathore, Pradeep Sen etc. were also present. From Sewa Sadan Hospital, Bharti Janyani Hospital Manager (Eye Care), Director Kushal Dharmani, Dr. Neha Mota, Dentist Dr. Komal Daswani and Dr. Roshni Gyanchandani, Pathologist Anil Prajapati, Optometrist Ajay Singh and D.P. Mishra were present.
