The 36th Eye Donation Fortnight Observed by SSEH

Eye Donation fortnight is observed from 25 August to 8 September in India. Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital conducted various programme to create awareness for the need for eye donation. An awareness programme was organised at the state’s National Health Mission where the staff were oriented for the need of eye donation.

A pledge certificate being presented to Ms Priyanka Das, Director, National Health Mission, Madhya Pradesh by Managing Trustee, SSEH, Shri L.C. Janiyani and Consultant, Col ( Retd) Dr M Deshpande. The team from Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital at the event.

At the hospital, the staff were administered a pledge to donate eyes.

A programme was  organised at Sant Hirdaram Girls College. Senior consultant, Dr. Sarita Kumar, Ms. Maya Gyanchandani, Chief Eye Bank Coordinator; Dr. Chandra Paliwal, Principal of the college and Ms. Anusha Pathak, Assistant Hospital Administrator were present on the occasion.
